Reward Offered For Stabbing Suspect
On June 25th, 2014, at about 1:00 a.m., a Washington State Trooper stopped a vehicle that was transporting a stabbing victim to Holy Family Hospital.  Deputy Robert Satake contacted the 17-year-old male victim, who was in stable condition, at Holy Family Hospital.
The victim told Deputy Satake that at about 11:30 p.m. he left his house near the 6600 block of W. Bernhill Road to go for a run.  He said he was jogging east on Bernhill from his house when a male suspect grabbed him around the neck.  The suspect pulled the victim’s headphones out of his ears and demanded his wallet.  The victim told the suspect he did not have his wallet with him.Â
Â
The victim said the suspect spun him around and he could not get a very good look at him because it was dark.  He said the suspect was male, about 5’11”, wearing a dark hood and had breath that smelled like “garbage”.  The victim said the suspect stabbed him in the right shoulder, and he fell to the ground as the suspect ran away.  Deputies were not able to locate the suspect.
