Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest Offers Reward

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for anyone providing information leading to an arrest of this robbery suspect who became violent when confronted about stealing two frying pans and struck a Macy’s store security employee in the face and shoulder with one of the pans prior to fleeing on foot.

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is officering this reward with the hope of assisting Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives solve this case as they did not receive any tips from the public after the photos of the possible suspect were released April 10, 2017.

Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward. Can You Help Identify this Robbery Suspect?


Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are investigating a robbery at Macy’s in the Spokane Valley Mall.  The suspect in these pictures became violent when confronted about stealing two frying pans and struck a store security employee in the face and shoulder with one of the pans prior to fleeing on foot.   

The robbery, which started out as a theft until the suspect became violent, occurred on February 13, 2017, at approximately 7:10 p.m.

The suspect threw one of the frying pans down as he ran away with the other pan still in his possession.  The suspect was last seen fleeing north on foot from the store, toward Indiana.  A perimeter was established but a K9 search for the suspect was unsuccessful.  The store employee was not seriously injured and did not require medical attention at the scene.
