Downtown Bank Robbery Suspect in Custody

Update to yesterday’s US Bank robbery release:

 

Thanks to the diligent work by the Downtown Neighborhood Resource Officers and the Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit, the US Bank robbery suspect, 47 year old Michael S. Parsons, was located and taken into custody without incident.  Parsons has been booked into the Spokane County Jail for 1st Degree Robbery.

Spokane Police are investigating a robbery at the US Bank located in the 400 block of W. Riverside Ave.  The incident occurred just before 4:30PM.  The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.  A photograph of the suspect is being sent out, and anyone with suspect information is asked to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233.

 

Today, March 28, just before 4:30PM, Spokane Police received the report of a robbery at the US Bank located in the 400 block of W. Riverside Ave.  The suspect entered the bank and demanded money.  The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers arrived on scene and were unable to initially locate the suspect.  Officers are still on scene gathering evidence, and looking for surveillance cameras in the area which captured the suspects exit.  Spokane Police are releasing the photographs from the US Bank surveillance video showing the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’05”, 170lbs., with short dark hair, unshaven, wearing a tan Carhartt style jacket with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath.

Anyone who is able to identify the suspect, or has information regarding the robbery, is asked to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233.
