Homicide Investigation in Spokane Valley
Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies where call to the 600 block of South Michigan in Spokane Valley for a reported homicide. When deputies arrived, they found two deceased adults and a juvenile at the residence. Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives and Forensic Unit personnel were called to the scene to assist with the investigating.
This morning at 8:43 a.m., a 911 call was received from a young juvenile who stated his mother and uncle had been killed. Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies immediately responded to the scene, contacted the juvenile and located an adult male and female inside the residence. Both adults appear to suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene. The juvenile was not injured during this horrific incident.
Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives and Forensic Unit personnel were called to the scene to assist with the investigation and process the scene for evidence.
Detectives are searching for 44-year-old Gilberto Delgado. He is described as a Hispanic male, 6’00” 155 pounds, brown eyes with a shaved head. He has the name “Brenda” tattooed on one of his forearms.
He is possibly driving a newer black Dodge Dart with dark tinted windows and red pen striping.
Delgado is believed to be armed and considered dangerous.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the names of the victims at a later date when it is appropriate to do so.
Anyone who knows the location of Delgado, observes a vehicle matching this description or has information regarding this incident is urged to call 911.
