Liberty Lake Police Incidents 11/9 to 11/16

2015-LLPD-986

On 11/11/2015 at 5:02 P.M. LLPD responded to the 20000 block of E. Mission Ave. for a suspicious circumstance. Complainant reported there were children with no adult present and the home was

under construction. An officer arrived at the location and spoke to the contractor who was onsite.

2015-LLPD-987

Christian P. Mendez Perez was arrested on 11/11/2015 at 3:51 P.M. at Corbin and Greenacres for Robbery Domestic Violence and Resisting Arrest. A witness observed two people in a vehicle physically fighting as the vehicle was proceeding at a high rate of speed on the interstate. An officer was able to locate the vehicle and conducted a stop. After investigation, it was determined Mendez became upset when the female party involved grabbed her purse and the vehicle swerved. The female then tried to pull her purse back and Mendez became upset and struck himself twice. Mendez was determined to be the aggressor and was booked into Spokane County Jail.

On 11/10/2015 at 4:07 A.M. LLPD responded to the 19000 block of E. Cataldo Ave. for an attempted burglary. Complainant reported there was a male cutüng the fencing along the building in order to

gain access. Officers arrived but the male had already left the location.

On 11/11/2015 at 8:20 P.M. LLPD responded to the 22000 block of E. Country Vista Dr. for an argument. Complainant reported they could hear yelling coming from a nearby residence. Officers responded and spoke to both parties involved. The male subject reported he was upset after having taken his wife out to dinner for her birthday and coming home to watch television. The female subject reportedly would not leave him alone. Both parties agreed to sleep separately that evening.

On 11/11/2015 at 10:36 P.M. LLPD responded to a noise complaint at the 1600 block of N. Aladdin Rd.

Complainant reported loud music coming from the location. Upon arrival, officers heard no music.

On 11/10/2015 at 4:53 P.M. LLPD responded to a vehicle theft at the 22000 block of E. Country Vista

Dr. Complainant reported her vehicle had been taken from the location. The vehicle was found on 11/12/2015 at a local grocery store.

2015-LLPD-995

On 11/11/2015 at 6:11 A.M. an LLPD Officer struck an elk on HWY 41. The Officer was unhurt.

However, the patrol vehicle was damaged upon impact.

Eric H. Kesner was arrested on 11/12/2015 at 2:28 P.M. at the 21000 block of E. Wellesley Ave. on an outstanding warrant for Escape From Community Custody.

2015-LLPD-997

On 11/13/2015 at 4:53 P.M. LLPD responded to an agency assist at E. Country Vista Dr. and N. Eagle Bend Lane. Complainant reported a vehicle was driving erratically down the roadway and was now stopped at the intersection. The complainant had taken the keys from the ignition. Upon officer contact, the subject was determined to be driving under the influence of prescription medication and

was arrested by another agency for DUI.

2015-LLPD-998

Kyle S. Savitz was arrested on 11/13/2015 at 1:33 P.M. at Eastbound 1-90 on a warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance. Savitz was found to also be DWLS and Operating a Vehicle without Ignition Interlock and was cited for both. He was booked into Spokane County Jail on his warrant.

On 11/13/2015 at 8:09 P.M. LLPD responded to a welfare check at the 24000 block of E. Hawkstone Lp. Complainant requested contact with a subject who made comments about suicide. An officer responded and made contact with the subject who reported the holidays always get them down due to previous family issues and they were going out of town with a friend the next day to celebrate a birthday. The subject reported they were okay, and had no intention of harming themselves.

Gail A. Ladenburg was arrested on 11/14/2015 at 12:45 A.M. at Eastbound 1-90 for DUI.

2015-LLPD-IOOI

Richard D. Dougan Jr. was arrested on 11/14/2015 at 1:08 P.M. at Eastbound 1-90 and N. Liberty Lake Rd. on a warrant for DWLS. Dougan was booked into the Spokane County Jail.

2015-LLPD-1002

On 11/14/2015 at 9:00 P.M. LLPD responded to the 22000 block of E. Appleway Ave. for a theft.

Complainant reported that someone had stolen his wallet from the event taking place at the location.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with two subjects who the complainant thought were responsible.

Both agreed to a search of their persons, and a vehicle. Nothing was found.

2015-LLPD-1003

Thomas I. Thompson was arrested on 11/9/2015 at 8:24 A.M. at E. Country Vista and N. Liberty Lake Rd. for DWLS.

2015-LLPD-1004

On 11/15/2015 at 6:28 P.M. a 16 year old male was arrested in Liberty Lake for Domestic Violence Assault. The subject was booked into Juvenile Detention.

2015-LLPD-1005

On 11/15/2015 at 2:44 P.M. LLPD responded to the 1400 block of N. Caufield Ct. for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. An officer in the area identified a vehicle parked near the location as being recently stolen. Contact was made with the resident at the location who reported a subject had borrowed the vehicle from a friend and was going to work on it. The subject had apparently left the location. This incident is currently under investigation.
