Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives have arrested three people believed to be involved in the homicide that occurred Sunday night in North Central Spokane. Isaiah B. Hamblin (25), Jacob A. Smith (19), and Kaitlyn I. Brocher (18) have been arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail for 1st Degree Murder.

Following up on investigative leads, including surveillance footage from the area of the shooting, detectives were able to develop information leading them to the three suspects late yesterday, March 22, 2016. That information indicated the victim (who will be identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office) was tricked into thinking he was meeting an acquaintance of his. It appears the three intended to rob the victim and in the process, he was shot.
