Burglar Caught Inside Valley Office Building

On June 5th, 2015 just prior to 6:00 a.m., Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 30-year-old Gregory A. Lang for Burglary 2nd Degree after finding him inside a Spokane Valley office building in the 12300 block of East Valleyway.

Several Spokane Valley Sheriff’s deputies responded to the location to investigate a reported business alarm.  Deputy Lawhorn arrived on scene within 3 minutes and could hear the alarm sounding.  He noticed the front door glass was broken and a paper towel with blood on it on the ground.

As additional deputies arrived, they observed Lang walking down the hallway.  Lang followed commands, went down to the ground, and was taken into custody without incident.

Lang told deputies he had permission from the owner to be inside the business and that there were 2 or 3 others inside.  The building was searched and no one else was located.  One of the owners of the business confirmed Lang did not have permission to be inside the closed business.

After being informed of his rights, Lang again told deputies he had permission to be at the business and he was there to film porn.  He insisted he had not taken any drugs in the last few days.

Lang was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for Burglary 2nd Degree.
