Traffic Unit Investigators are asking the public for information regarding a vehicle/pedestrian hit and run collision that occurred on Sunday, June 7th, 2015 just after 3:00 a.m. in Deer Park.

The adult male victim told investigators he was walking, eastbound, with a friend on the north side of Crawford when he noticed a vehicle traveling toward them.  As the vehicle approached, the victim stated it swerved onto the sidewalk, hit him and continued westbound without stopping.  The victim received a serious facial cut and stated his knee was sore.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators located a passenger’s side mirror at the scene and believe the suspect vehicle is possibly a tan or white 2001-2007 Ford Escape or 2005-2007 Mercury Mariner.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, or the suspect vehicle, is urged to contact Corporal Brett Hubbell at 509-477-3251.
