Burglar Re-Arrested less than 72 Hours after Release

Spokane Police responded to the report of a garage burglary on Sunday morning and took Danielle L. Wozniak (31) into custody for the crime. Wozniak had been released from Spokane County Jail on a Residential Burglary charge less than 72 hours prior.

On Sunday, March 6, 2016, just before 11:30am, Spokane Police responded to the report of a garage burglary in the 1300 block of south Cook. The victim reported that she had seen a female, later identified as Wozniak, enter her garage, rifle through her vehicle and take food from a storage freezer.

Officers arriving on scene took Wozniak into custody without incident. She was booked into Spokane County Jail for 2nd Degree Burglary. She has one previous felony conviction for 2nd Degree Malicious Mischief.

During the incident on March 2, 2016, Spokane Police responded to a residential burglary just after 5:15pm in the 1800 block of east Riverside. That victim reportedly found Wozniak in his house after coming in from outside. She had allegedly stolen some things and ran outside. She was taken into custody and booked for Residential Burglary, but was released on March 3, 2016 just before 6:00pm.
