Detective Asks for Your Help Identifying this Male

A Spokane County Sheriff’s Investigative Task Force (ITF) Detective would like your help identifying the male in these photos.  The male is believed to have used stolen credit cards taken in a vehicle prowling on January 20, 2017.

On January 20, 2017, a victim reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole her purse between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m., while she was hiking near the Stevens Creek Trailhead in South Spokane County.  The victim’s purse contained several credit cards, identification, and additional personal items.

The victim believes the suspect(s) was able to enter her vehicle by reaching through a window that wasn’t rolled up all the way.  She also reported someone attempted to use her credit cards at Walmart, located at 15727 E. Broadway, after they were stolen.

The male in these pictures taken from store surveillance video, is believed to have used the stolen credit cards and ITF Detective Meyer is asking for your help identifying him.

If you can help identify the male in these photos or provide information regarding these incidents, you are asked to call Detective Meyer at 509-477-3159 reference case number 2017-10008386.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and Spokane Valley Police would like to remind everyone to make sure they don’t leave personal items, identification or items of value in their unattended vehicles.  Criminals are out looking for easy targets of opportunity and they will steal your hard earned property in seconds given the chance.
