Hit and Run Vehicle vs Male on Lime Scooter

Spokane Police Department (SPD) Major Crimes Unit (MCU) Traffic Investigators processed the scene of an injury hit and run collision involving a Lime scooter and an automobile. The scooter rider received a significant injury.

On October 7, 2020, around 4:51 a.m., SPD responded to an injury collision at Nevada Street and Wabash Avenue. The caller reported a vehicle northbound on Nevada Street struck a male riding a Lime scooter who was westbound on Wabash Avenue. The collision occurred in the intersection. Rather than stopping, as required by law, the driver fled the scene.

The Spokane Fire Department was on scene treating the victim when officers arrived. The victim was transported to an area hospital for a life threatening injury.

Officers secured the scene to preserve evidence.

The SPD Traffic Investigator responded and took over the scene. He is asking for the community’s help to locate the suspect vehicle that is described as a white, 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza sedan.
