Investigative Work & Tips Land Bank Robbers in Jail
Last night, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and Spokane Police Department Major Crime Detectives assisted by the Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Investigative Task Force Detectives arrested 30-year-old Kristopher M. Turner and 32-year-old Shanna M. Edwards (Turner). Turner was charged with two counts of Robbery 1st Degree and Edwards was charged with Robbery 1st Degree.
Detectives investigating the Banner Bank robbery on May 26th and the INB Bank robbery on May 31st, developed Turner and Edwards as suspects from located evidence and tips received from the public.
Last night just prior to 5:00 p.m., Turner and Edwards were taken into custody without incident by investigators and Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies in the parking lot of Bob Mart Gas Station located at 1501 W. Crawford in Deer Park.
Around the same time, the Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team was requested to assist and successfully served a search warrant at a residence located in the 1800 block of West Burroughs.
Turner, a seven time convicted felon (one for Robbery 1st Degree for a 2008 robbery of Bank of America at Division and Wellesley), was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for two counts of Robbery 1st Degree.
Edwards was booked into the Spokane County Jail for Robbery 1st Degree.
