The following is direct from the Liberty Lake Police Department.

2015-LLPD-1129

Jacob A. Woodward was arrested on 12/29/2015 at 7:02 A.M. at Grady and Mission for Possession of Heroin and a warrant for Trespassing 2nd degree. An Officer observed the vehicle leave a house known for assaults, drug activity, stolen vehicles and wanted persons. After running the license plate, it was found the registered owner had 3 warrants out of Stevens County. The vehicle traveled down the roadway two or three houses before pulling into a driveway for a short period of time. The vehicle then got back on the roadway and traveled into a gated community where it parked on the road. Upon contact with the driver (Woodward), dispatch advised the Officer he had an outstanding warrant for Trespassing 2nd degree. The Officer observed two small baggies lying on the passenger seat, one with a brown tar like substance inside. When asked what was in the baggy, Woodward admitted he thought it could be heroin. After further contact, Woodward was arrested for the charges listed above and booked into the Spokane County Jail.

2015-LLPD-1130

On 12/30/2015 at 12:48 P.M. LLPD responded to a welfare check at the 25000 block of E. Hawkstone Lp. Complainant reported he was concerned for the welfare of his child after his ex-girlfriend would not allow him visitation. He was further concerned upon learning she had not been taking her medication for depression. Officers made contact with the female who reported she wasn’t taking medication anymore because she wasn’t suffering from depression any longer. The house looked clean and well maintained and the child was observed to be well taken care of. The female reported to Officers she had been advised by her attorney not to allow visitation until a parenting plan was in place after the complainant had taken the child for several days without permission previously.

On 12/28/2015 at 9:37 A.M. LLPD responded to a deceased person at the 23000 block of E. Mission Ave.

2015-LLPD-1132

On 12/30/2015 at 1:08 P.M. LLPD responded to a burglary at the 19000 block of E. Nora Ave.

Complainant reported she left her residence at 11:50 A.M. and returned at 2:05 P.M. to find someone had kicked down the front door and stolen five firearms and the couple’s wedding rings from inside the home. Items missing total near $4270, while damage to the residence is estimated at $400. This is an open/active investigation.

 

2016-LLPD-I

Bryce K. McGrotha was arrested on 12/29/2015 at 1:50 P.M. at the 1600 block of N. Aladdin Rd. after a search warrant was executed on his residence. Nine individuals were found inside the home. Over 80 items were taken from the home including drugs and drug paraphernalia. McGrotha was charged with UPCS Meth w/lntent to Deliver, PM UPCS w/lntent to Manufacture, Unlawful Use of a Building for Drug Activity and Possession of Legend Drug w/o Prescription and was booked into the Spokane County Jail.

On 12/31/2015 at 2:40 P.M. LLPD responded to an agency assist at the 26000 block of E. Hauser Lk. Branch Rd. Complainant reported a female had come into the residence uninvited and was taking items from inside. 2016-LLPD-4

On 12/31/2015 at 8:40 P.M. LLPD responded to the 1500 block of N. Terrace Lane for a suicidal. Complainant reported her husband had been armed, was intoxicated and had made suicidal comments. Upon arrival, Officers met the complainant at the door. The complainant reported she’d taken one of the firearms from inside the home, but there were others. Officers attempted contact with the subject who would not come to the door. It was later determined by Officers that contact with the male was not worth the risk to the public if the subject was armed with a rifle inside the home. It was the complainant’s belief the subject had passed out due to intoxication inside the residence. The complainant was advised to contact LE if anything further took place at the residence

that evening.

On 12/31/2015 at 9:44 P.M. LLPD responded to an alarm at the 1400 block of N. Liberty Lake Rd.

Contact was made with the contact listed who provided a good code.

2016-LLPD-6

On 1/1/2016 at 4:45 A.M. LLPD responded to an alarm at the 23000 block of E. Knox Ave. The area was checked and all appeared to be in order and secure.

 

2016-LLPD-7

On 1/1/2016 at 5:33 P.M. LLPD responded to a citizen dispute at the 24000 block of E. Autumn Crossing Ave. Complainant reported chunk of ice had fallen from her home onto her neighbors property and he’d left a note on her shed that read, “”Please keep your things in your yard! They could hurt us!”” Complainant reported her husband had gone outside to get something from their vehicle and their neighbor was standing near their vehicle. An argument ensued. Both parties were advised it was a civil matter and no crime had occurred.

On 1/1/2016 at 1:17 A.M. LLPD responded to the 1100 block of N. Malvern Rd. for a collision. No injuries were reported and exchange of information was completed by parties involved.

2016-LLPD-9

On 1/1/2016 at 11:46 P.M. LLPD responded to the 24000 block of E. Spotted Owl Lane for a citizen dispute. Complainant reported he and his wife were separated and she entered their apartrnent and took items. Civil matter. 2016-LLPD-IO

On 1/1/2016 at 10:42 P.M. LLPD responded to the 21000 block of E. Bitterroot Lane for an argument. Complainant reported a family argument. Family is concerned intoxicated male at the locafion is suicidal. Upon contact, complainant’s reported they were sending the subject to bed.

On 1/1/2016 at 7:56 P.M. LLPD responded to a hit and run at the 1500 block of N. Salishan Lane.

Complainant reported someone had struck their parked vehicle.

2016-LLPD-12

On 1/4/2016 at 4:01 P.M. LLPD responded to the 24000 block of E. Spotted Owl Lane for a frouble unknown. Upon arrival, Officers were advised a male who had previously been trespassed from the location was on site. An Officer made contact with the male whose vehicle was stuck in the snow. The vehicle was removed from the snow drift and the male left the location.

On 1/3/2016 at 7:39 A.M. LLPD responded to the 24000 block of E. Valleyway Ave. for a traffic hazard. Complainant reported a deer in the roadway.

 

2016-LLPD-14

On 1/3/2016 at 1:19 P.M. LLPD responded to the 19000 block of E. Broadway Ave. for an alarm. An Officer was sitting in his vehicle near the location and could see the door where the alarm was tripped. Door was secure and no one was in the area.

On 1/3/2016 at 12:19 A.M. LLPD responded to an alarm at the 19000 block of E. Broadway Ave. Upon arrival, Officers checked the building which was secure.

2016-LLPD-16

On 1/3/2016 at 2:36 A.M. LLPD responded to the 21000 block of E. Bitterroot Lane for a noise complaint. Complainant sent a text to dispatch reporting loud noises and talking coming from an area residence. Complainant reported they did not feel safe calling and requested their information not be disclosed. An Officer checked the location and found no noise disturbance. After checking in on the complainant, it was learned the complainant suffered from paranoia and had not taken medication recently.

2016-LLPD-17

On 1/2/2016 at 9:42 P.M. LLPD responded to N. Garry Dr. and E. Sprague Ave. for a suspicious circumstance. Complainant reported two males were taking fencing from an abandoned residence. Officers arrived and observed 3-4 sections of wooden fencing missing from the residence. No owner information could be located.

On 1/2/2015 at 6:31 P.M. LLPD responded to the 22000 block of E. Broad Ave. for an agency assist on a domestic violence incident.

 

2016-LLPD-19

On 1/2/2016 at 11:10 P.M. LLPD responded to the 22000 block of E. Country Vista Dr. for a domestic violence. Upon LE arrival, Officers observed a female subject yelling. The subjects body was partially wedged in the door way. Officers could also hear the male inside the location yelling for the female to “”get out.”” Officers advised the female should back away from the door several times without her compliance. The subject finally moved away from the door which Officers could see was chained, preventing her from entering the residence. Upon investigation, it was learned the two were married but separated. The male had asked the female not to come over that evening and the female subject had arrived anyways. The male was barring her entrance to his residence when Officers arrived. The female was escorted off the property and advised not to return that evening.

2016-LLPD-20

Brittany P. Dugger was arrested on 1/1/2016 at 1:21 A.M. at the 1100 block of N. Malvern for DUI.

Dugger was given a criminal citafion and was released to a parent.

Kelsey L. Krogh was arrested on 1/1/2016 at 1:22 A.M. at the 1100 block of N. Malvern for Minor in Consumption and was given a criminal citation.

Mark W. Fox was arrested at Eastbound 1-90 on 12/30/2015 at 3:04 A.M. for DWLS.”
