Spokane Police Officers responded to the 2100 block of W Houston Avenue on 9/22/2019 at about 5:30pm for reports of a shooting.
On 09/22/2019, at about 5:30pm, Officers were dispatched to a possible shooting in the 2100 block of W Houston Avenue. Multiple residents in the area called in to report hearing gunshots while others reported seeing a group of individuals shooting a gun. About 3-5 gunshots altogether were heard.
Officers arrived on-scene and noticed a pick-up truck with windows which appeared to be shot out and there were bullet casings left in the street. It did not appear anyone was injured. Officers searched the area and located two juvenile males matching the descriptions given by 911 callers as those possibly involved in the shooting. These two males were detained for investigation by investigating officers. One of the males was released later on while the other was arrested for an unrelated crime. At this time there is no suspect information.
