Spokane Police Officers Search for Work Crew Inmate, Unsuccessful

Spokane Police Officers searched for a Geiger Inmate worker who walked away for his work detail at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the area of north Elm Street and west Centennial Way but he was not located.

Inmate worker 22 year-old Gary C. Angell was in custody for violating Court Order requirements when he walked away from his tree planting detail this morning. He is the respondent on a protection order. Officers attempted to notify the petitioner of the order but they were unable to locate a number for her.

Angell was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, orange t-shirt, maroon over-shirt and blue pants but has had time to change his clothing. He is described as 5’10”, 175 lbs, with short black hair, brown eyes and beard.  Angell may have been spotted at one point in the area of 1300 W. Dean and may have changed into a gray hooded sweatshirt and black rimmed glasses.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or Angell’s location is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233 or 911.
