Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are looking to the public to help identify two suspects in an assault that occurred on February 2, 2015, at a grocery store in the 3900 block of N. Market. Attached is a photo of one of the suspects. Both suspects are described as either African Americans or Pacific Islanders, in their 20s or 30s, each a with a stocky build, and each approximately 5’ 9” tall. One of the suspects (not in the attached photo) is described as having long, black hair. Anyone with information on the incident or the identities of the suspects is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
On Monday, February 2, 2015, at approximately 5:15 pm, Spokane Police responded to Safeway located in the 3900 block of N. Market St. on a report of a robbery. Individuals at the scene indicated two males entered the store, attempted to steal alcohol and were confronted by a store employee. As the store employee attempted to stop the suspects from leaving the store, they engaged in a physical confrontation. During the confrontation, one of the suspects hit the employee with a bottle of alcohol, breaking the bottle. The other suspect punched the employee. The two suspects fled the location.
