The Spokane Police Department is looking to the public to help identify a suspect in road rage assault. The truck in the attached pictures is believed to have intentionally rammed a victim’s vehicle during an incident on Spokane’s south hill yesterday morning. Anyone with information on this vehicle and its driver is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

16-101765cYesterday, March 23, 2016, just after 7:00am, officers responded to the area of Ray St. and Ray Pl. on what originally came out as a hit and run collision. Once on scene, officers were able to determine the collision had happened intentionally based on statements from the victim and witnesses. The pictured older model Dodge Ram truck, driven by a white male, possibly in his 40’s with a grey beard/stubble, pushed the victim vehicle into a curb, causing both passenger side tires to pop and significant damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.

16-101765aOfficers were able to find surveillance footage of the truck from the area. The truck is very distinct. It’s a two-tone, extra cab, older Dodge Ram pickup. It appears to have a winch on the front of it and miss-matched wheels on the passenger side. There should also be fresh damage on the passenger side from this incident.

16-101765dAnyone with information on this truck and/or its driver is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
